Site Rules

At Fulbeck Waters we want all our guests and visitors to have a pleasant experience and so we politely ask that you observe the rules and regulations whilst on site.

Some of these are specifically for fishing or camping but there are also some very important health and safety regulations that apply to everyone.

We recommend that you familiarise yourself with all of these in advance.

CAMPING RULES

On arrival campers should report to the appointed steward before pitching their unit and pay any fees due.
Units must be pitched where directed by the site owner.
All vehicles are restricted to 5mph on site and learner drivers are not permitted.
Vehicles must be parked in the designated areas and not on grassed areas
Units, excluding guy ropes, must be 6 meters apart from the adjacent unit. This is a precaution against fire.
Vehicles may be parked between units, provided that a 3 metre clear space is left within the 6 metre gap at all times
Children’s pup tents are regarding in the same way as an awning, when they are occupied by children and when no appliance with a naked flame is used in or close to them, therefore a pup tent not is not required to comply with the 6 metre rule and can be pitched close to the parents unit.
Dogs must be kept on a lead no longer than 2 metres at all times & mess must be cleared away
Radios TV’s and/or other audio equipment must be kept at a reasonable volume level so as not to disturb other guests. No noise whatsoever allowed between 11pm and 7am.
No bonfires allowed whatsoever
No Swimming in the lake
BBQ’s must be on a stand at least 6″ above the ground and sited well away from camping units
It is strongly recommended that all camping units are equipped with a suitable BS/EN3 approved fire extinguisher or fire blanket and that campers are familiar with how to use them. Buckets of water placed outside units are also useful as near to hand fire fighting equipment
It is advisable that each members unit be equipped with a first aid kit.
Respect should be shown to landowner’s property, trees, fences, buildings, equipment and stock
It is forbidden to fly kites and model aircraft or to use catapults, airguns, firearms, bows and arrows or similar items on site. Ball games are permitted provided it is in an open space well away from camping units and anglers.
Pitch must be left clear of litter on day of departure from site
Units cannot be left unoccupied overnight.
The contents of chemical toilets must not be disposed of on-site except into the disposal site identified by the appointed steward

GENERAL RULES/HEALTH AND SAFETY

No swimming allowed in the lake
Dogs must be on a lead
Radios and/or other audio equipment must be kept at low volume levels
No bonfires allowed
BBQ’s must be on a stand at least 6″ above the ground
There is no lighting on site so it is advisable to bring along a good torch
Once onsite please make yourselves aware of the nearest fire point
Respect should be shown to landowner’s property, trees, fences, buildings, equipment and stock

Ball games are permitted provided it is in an open space well away from camping units and anglers.
